3rd Birthday Party
Pictures taken at a friends daughters 3rd Birthday Party. The light was quite harsh on the day. These are just a few that i really like.
Over the Bridge
Still practising with this long exposure/welding glass technique. And also trying out a spot of HDR processing in the above set of images.
The Silver Jubilee Bridge known as Runcorn Bridge crosses the River Mersey and the manchester Ship Canal between Runcorn and Widnes in Cheshire , England. The bridge opened in 1961 as a replacement for the Transporter Bridge.
The Fishing Platform
This is a shot testing out my new 10-20mm Sigma and the long exposure technique using a piece of welding glass.
Roughly a 4 minute exposure.
Friends Photoshoot
My daughter had her friend Tal around and to occupy them i asked if they wanted to pose for a few pictures.
This gave me an opportunity to get my new Sigma 10-20mm lens out – its not what i bought the lens for – but got some good results from it.
Shot with an off camera 580exii flash, camera right.
Stemknot
This was taken with an iPhone 4 and edited with pictureshow on iPhone 4. Its a picture of the stems of a bunch of tulips in a clear glass vase.
The First Fallen Petal
Just a little something i created as a last minute entry into the local club competition.
Straight forward shot of a flower against a black background, turned on its head, colour toned, added in a couple of background textures and an additional falling petal.
